I know BigDaddy, you explained all this to me personally and you were even kind enough to escort me to the hydroponic shop to pick up the chemicals but.....I lost your instructions.

I could have pm'd you but I'm sure many can benefit by your significant knowledge in this area.

So now that I think I've "stroked" you sufficiently...can you give me your recipe again please

Thanks, Nelson

BigDaddy

500mL of distilled water
2 Tbsp of trace mix

If you have soft water, you can also suppliment with Epsom Salts for Mg

1 Tbsp Magnesium Sulfate

I'd add the MgSO4 if your gH value is below 3 degrees.  Above that, and you probably have plenty of calcium and magnesium.

How/when do I add the Potasium Nitrate and Phosphate BD?  Do I also mix some of that with the trace elements mix?

One quick question,.....where can I get all those ingredients?

you can get these from just about any hydroponics store. the containers are relatively inexpensive. when you consider how long they will last you i would consider them very cheap!

You can make 500 ml's of ferts that have the same chemical make-up as the commercial brands for literally pennies.  BigDaddy put me on to this and as redbelly said, the chemical components are readily available at any hydroponics shop.
