Eheim automated algae scraper ?

I'm a huge fan of Eheim products, I've got two of their autfeeders, eleven jager heaters, and six canister filters, and I've even contemplated trying out their battery powered vacuum because I love their products.  But I think they've missed the mark totally on this one. Thoughts?
