How do people feel about Turkey?

For those that feed beefheart  has anyojne thought about grund turkey?

I used it in the past.  Fish ate it the same there were good results.  Just after the first bite they did turn and look at me like...what is this?  Then they ate it.


Anyone else?

Turkey is good for thanksgiving, christmas, easter - all those big holidays.  
But I guess it's lean and high in protein, so I don't see why not.
How did you prepare it?

Didn't someone on Simply Discus say that they feed their discus fresh lean ground beef?  I guess turkey would be as good or better.

There are some on simply that use Lean ground beef.  There reason was that it was still high in protien and it was easier to prepare that BH.


When I used Turkey prepare two ways.

1 just the turkey, pressed like I do BH.

2.  The other with baby food, vitamins and a couple other things that escape me right now.  

I like # 1 better but maybe would add garlic and a bit of pellets.
My reason are that #2 was messy and I feed other foods so they get their vitamins that way.
