So the pair of Betta Schalleri I bought from the OVAS auction just had babies!

I removed about 15 little ones.

Wahh that was quick. Good luck with raising the fry. Also post your progress in the BAP section :)

Too bad I have to have had them (the parents) 1 month before the fry in order to qualify for BAP.

Here are pictures of the babies I pulled from papas mouth.

He had about 40 - at my last count, and is currently holding more eggs.

They are currently eating paramecium on a drip, live BBS, and crushed flakes.

Picture 1 - the parents tank - 30 gallons split into 2.  Betta Schalleri pair on the left, Betta edithea pair on the right
Picture 2 - papa hiding
Picture 3 - mamma who LOVES the Cobalt Aquatics Small Cichlid pellets I got a sample of at the auction!
