pump advice

Looking for some pump advice. 

I have a little giant model 977446 that is super loud, any advice on how to quiet the beast or should I shop for something else?

If it is an external pump you can slide a mouse pad under it. In water, most come with some type of foam with a sticky back for the bottom. Short of that and being inside a cabinet, my guess is your looking at a new one. Sorry no recommendations on a silent type as my tank is flush with a wall and the back is the laundry room so no issue.

as mentioned you can try putting dampener underneath also I believe those pumps may need the occasional oiling.I also have some Eheim or DC Speedwave,Eco or inline BlowHole pumps in stock if needed.Good luck

It sounds like the hum of a flippin' generator.

Any recommendations for something more quiet?
