I have 2 aquariums.
One 20 gallon with: 3 platies, 2 mollies, a female betta and a guppy (FYI, it was originally in the other tank but it harassed my endlers, but the betta leaves him alone.) PH: 7.2
One 10 gallon with: a baby platy, 2 Endlers and a balloon molly. PH: 7.4
Any fish suggestions (other than livebearers which is all I have). My livebearers are all male.

For your 10G tank, since it is so small, you might want to consider a school of micro-fish such as celestial pearl danios or chili micro-rasboras which can create more interest than just a few larger fish. Adding small shrimp such as cherry shrimp or even a tiny dwarf orange crayfish adds interest to a small tank as well. My husband and I have a 6G planted tank - very low light plants since the lighting isn't great for plants - with a school of about 2 dozen of the chilis and about 2 dozen rili shrimp. The chilis (pic below) are very colorful and they aren't a timid fish so they don't hide the was the CPDs often do. I'd re-home your other tank inhabitants, though, before adding these. Hope that helps a bit.

I'd recommend a small group of 5-6 small tetras or rasboras. There are tons of options out there. I personally prefer colourful species like cardinal tetras or harlequin rasboras.

Agreed. If you like the Cardinal Tetras, perhaps start with Neon Tetras first - they tend to be hardier and less sensitive. You need to get these fishes in small groups however.

I`m with the bunch that support stocking with smaller fish in a group, you may well find that you appreciate the tank more, my favorite for a 20 gallon is a group of Harlequin Rasboras 10-20 of them , shows off well.

I'm pretty sure that neon and cardinal tetras require acidic to neutral water. I'm not really a fan of tetras, though. I found a nice fish called a sparkling gourami. Would that work? What about otos?

The sparkling gourami is a beauty & the require almost the same water conditions as the cardinals or neons, that said I`m not sure they are a schooling fish & might do better in trios 1m 2f ( males can get very territorial) , personally I think they would be lost in a 20 gallon with such small numbers.
yea for ottos maybe 3 or so.
Another idea is a trio of south American dwarf cichlids as centre piece fishes, supplemented  by some schooling fish

I have to work around the stock I already have so I can't add that much bioload to my 20 gallon or my 10 gallon, thats why Im staying away from schooling fish. Gouramis are not schooling fish.

hi

I never saw the chilis before...  they are really nice looking!  Do you know where I could grab some... and are they expensive?  I have a 30g without any fish (yet), but is planted.  The sand and rocks are all beige so these fish would look awesome in there with shrimps!

Thanks!

I'm not sure if they have any in right now, but critter jungle gets them in for $2.99 or $3.99 each. (sorry, can't remember what I paid was on special or not)
