summer vs winter water

I've noticed a small difference when "aging" my water recently.

I age my water in buckets with a small powerhead for a few hours.  In the winter the sides of my buckets would end up covered in microbubbles.  I'd knock on the bucket on several occasions to dislodge the bubbles but they would return several times.

Now that it's summer, using the same method, I see NO bubbles forming on the sides of my buckets.

I'm sure there's something super simple here that I'm missing.

Thoughts/explanations?

thanks!

Thanks.  Makes sense.

Interesting that such a small change in water temp makes such a diff.  In the winter the water comes out in the mid-low 50's.  Now that its warmer it's just barely 60.  Amazing that such a small change makes such a (visual) difference.

Considering the average room temp is 72ºF and the water comes out at ~ 60ºF, that would make sense. But I'm sure a good deal of the micro bubbles are also from the water being pressurized to about 50 psi in your pipes.  Which would account for the warmer tap water also containing some microbubbles.
