Long time no visit, sorry. Life's had me hopping!  I've reduced my hobby to a 5 gallon nano tank, with coolie loaches (love those guys) a  couple dozen Cherry Shrimp, some plecos and some Neons, just a common ol tank. I noticed though that all but a few of my RCS had disappeared, last week I also noticed my plecos had reproduced and spotted about a dozen babies, was very excited at that. That was kinda when I noticed I was down to 1 little shrimp. I took most of the greenery and large ornaments from the tank to see if I could see how many plecos I now have, when a fish jumped up, it's striped like a coolie loach, but is a tubular fish, much larger than a loach, about 4 inches long, about an inch in diameter, and is very good at hiding!  I'm guessing it came mixed in with the last coolie loaches I bough, about a year ago, and has been happily fattening up on my livestock!  All the newborn plecos seem to be gone, so I'm assuming they went into this fellows belly also, first question is, can anyone suggest what it might be without a photo? second question will be, does anyone need a predator fish?
