Drilling 10 Gallon

Hello,

I am thinking of drilling a ten gallon for a 1/2 or 3/4 inch bulkhead. This requires a hole of 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 inches respectively. To add to the strain on the tank, there will be an overflow box attached on the inside, then Python tubing coming out the back.

I have drilled lots of glass (well relatively lots...for me); yet, I have never done glass so thin as a Perfecto ten gallon (by Marineland).

I am wondering if it is a good idea?
(I know Perfecto 10 gallon has no warrantee without holes)

Does anyone have experience or advice?
(I do have two tanks just in case)

Should be ok, and considering they're only about $15 or so it's not a huge financial risk.

It will be on my 100 gallon system though... ???
I'm mainly concerned about structure after the drill...with all the stuff hooked up...

I may use a hang on the back overflow...
Slated to 125 gallon....should do for 30 gallons an hour out of a ten...

I have a few drilled 10's 2 were fine and the 3rd one broke. Don't try unless you can live with it breaking. I still not used my drilled tanks lol... dooh.
