120g Jardini tank.

I found a leaking 120g with a steel stand for $80 on Kijiji this week, and have set out to upgrade my Jardini Arowana's quality of life with it.

Here he is in my 55g transfer tank, waiting to move into his new home.

Just a few final touches before pics. I need to cycle his new FX6, so there's two pre-cycled filters in there currently which make the tank look a bit ugly. Also, his lid is a mish-mash of extra hoods and glass canopy's right now. I spent all my $ on that filter, so the lid will need to wait lol

I still have a ton of plants to buy for it (mostly grass and lily pad types. Contact me if you think you can help with that), so the only thing in the tank is an inch of Flourite and a half inch of ADA.

What sort of plants should I put in?

Plants will depend on your lighting and whether or not you'll be injecting CO2.  Also, are you looking to be actively maintaining the plants (trimming, scaping, etc.) or looking for more low maintenance fire and forget types.  If you give us some more info on lighting and what you are trying to achieve you will get lots of recommendations...
