Yeah, but if that interested me, I wouldn't be in this hobby :D

Touche, The possibilities include many small livebearers, such as the tooth carps (guppies, endlers, etcetera), and there are several labyrinth fish that would love to stare at you all day at work.

I suppose it depends on the size of the bowl, and the stability of the conditions in the office overnight, if you have a very small coal allotment, you'll want to condider a fish that doesn't mind the colder swings and air-conditioning.

Good luck, not little, yet not eight foot tall man, I'm sure you'll be brilliant and have very happy fish living with a lovely aluminum plant.

Broke the rules again...sigh.

Is there really ANYTHING you can keep in a fishbowl and not feel guilty about?

I keep killies in a 2.5  gallon aquarium with no heater or filter and do daily water changes.

I also keep a betta  in a 1/2 gallon bowl  and they all seem to do fine.

Least killies you can have 10 males /gallon EASILY with good water changes. They do not like warm water either so room temp is great.

My endlers do better in a warm tank,  but alot of peolpe keep them in bowls.  I don't like this I find they just sit there in a bowl.

Killies eh?  I'll look em up.  I thought about having an office tank but my desk is covered with computers and don't have the room.  A bowl might be possible tho.

I'm a dummy...I sold my fishbowl at the auction.  :(

YOu can have 25 cherry shrimp  per gal, did you get cherry shrimp or christal red shrimp?

Cherry shrimp.  Maybe I'll get some more for a fishbowl.  :)

Wonder if I'll get any looks if I hook the python up to the office sink tho...

Hey... if I can fit a 10 gallon on my desk, you can get a 2.5 or 5 on yours!

Darkdep, you're are a handy fellow, you know how some computer stations have little shelves sticking out all over for various ancillary components, well, you should be able to adapt something sturdy and good looking to jut out in some empty space somewhere on that desk of yours.

IKEA has some nice add-ons for their Jerker computer desks, not expensive, and easily adapted to something.

I'm sure the eight foot tall guy will coax you into something fun anyway, so good hunting, we must have our fishies nearby, or the days just aren't sunny. :D

After I brought my 10G tank to the office I was told that this is the first time people see such a thing in a cubicle...
Now I have separate chair for "guests" :)
