It's a DNS issue, the browser you use has no impact on the problem.

sympatico here and it was no fun yesterday, i thght it was the patch(for xp) but then other sites were working fine!

Who is the backup APW?  BD?

What is the IP address for the ovas server so we can get people using that if they have DNS issues.

Now that is a stretch, perhaps you could reset your cookies, as they may be out to lunch, and see what happens.

If you have ms windows xp, just push the start button, open the control panel, click on the internet options, and when the properties come up, just push button on delete cookies, from the temporary internet file. While you're there, delete the files too.

Additionally, go into your bookmarks and delete the OVAS bookmark, then go into your home page and type out our website until you find a reference to it, click on it, get back here, and then re-bookmark the site once your here successfully.

Just for fun, pick up spybot, it's free, can be found on download.com, and works very hard at cleaning house while surfing.
