Hi,

Does anyone know where I could acquire the large bags of trout feed commercial fisheries use?

I understand that it is a good (and cheap) complement to traditional flake food.

Not sure if they carry it but try calling CO-OP or Buckerfields  or a Livestock feed place  I know out west here a friend buys pellets from a place like these Not sure if it was trout specific but it was fish pellets ( he uses them for bait to go prawn and crab fishing fills a cotainer that has lots of holes in it and puts the container in the trap apparently the scent alone from the pellets attracts the critters into the trap) If not ask them if they might know  Maybe ask your fish and wildlife branch too for info if you haven't had any luck thus far
