I want to try  The European Shrimp Mix food for the cichlid.

Here is the link.

Is it good ? Did any do this before? Is it easy to do?

And, anyone know where can i get the Gelatin Powder?

Thanks.

Stevie

I haven't tried the recipe but I do know that Gelatin powder is available in any grocery store.  Knox is the most common brand.

I do my own Beef-heart like  (without any beef ) with all fish and shrimp to replace the beef.

some peaple like the ffect of gelatin , some not.

so test it

I agree with zapisto about gelatin preferences.
Using the "European Shrimp Mix" without gelatin, and fishes do not complain  :)

Can I do without gelatin? Then How can the mix stick together?

I thought it help to to keep the mix like a jelly, then u can frozen it .

Another question, how can you feed it to the fish?  I know sounds like a stupid question.

I mean you just throw the frozen cube into water ?
Especially the mix without gelatin, does  the melted frozen cube colud the water ?

And how big the frozen cube shoudl be.

You don't need gelatin to keep the mix together. All this mass I'm getting from the blender, I'm just putting into the zip-packet and then into freezer. Just for convinience be sure you have thin layer as in this case it is much easier to break off a piece  :)
