The problem with running for the exec is, imo, I'm out in left field when it comes to anything like that.
I don't want to take anyones spot as I feel they are already doing a great job.

Being out in left field only makes you out in left field, there are no right fields to be in to be on the Executive, in fact, some of the club's best loons have been and are on the Executive!

The other thinking I wanted to challenge busdriver, is the one about

There are no spots as it were, they may all be filled currently, but make no mistake, every position is open for contest every single year, if there is some position you think you might enjoy taking on for a year to see what benefit you can impart to the club with your involvement, then by all means, raise your hand when the position is announced, no one will cut it off!

And even among Exec who want to remain on the Exec, there is much position switching (including myself) so very spots even have an incumbent so to speak. So nominate away
