If you are an OVAS club member, and would enjoy an evening at Marinescape listening to the fellas at Marinescape, have any particular questions you would like addressed, or just want an evening in a very nice store when there are no customers about, post in the link below, or pm me to indicate a desire to be there.

It is 7:00 pm sharp, at Marinescape on Carling, and it is Monday June 11 the event takes place.

There is only so much room, not everyone will be able to go, so let me know right away.

The list of participants for this event has already been prepared, has it not?  I signed up for one of the limited spots quite some time ago.

PaleoFishGirl

There must still be spots available :)

Although surprising, you're likely right PFG.

I'm just going to crash the seminar :D
Thank you for reminding me, to everyone on the list in advance, you will need to bring your OVAS club member card with you to gain entrance.

There have been some modifications to the meeting to account for the possibility that the Ottawa Senators may require seven games to bring the Stanley cup home. The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm sharp, and I will be standing at the door with list in hand, and a few membership applications and cards for those who would like to be on the list but haven't a membership at the moment.

The list as it stands at the moment is as follows:

fishpassion,  beowulf,  Nelson,  murgus,  redfish,  fishycanuck,  audioslave_36,  limmer,  snigger,  seanc,  colin&cassie,  gvv,  pwcra,  kemokid,  artw,  garnpet,  aftr,

Possible additional attendees will be roxydog,  Tyler.L (if you would like to purchase a membership at the door),  gonzobluefuzz (if you can skip a shift),  BigDaddy (if you can make it),  Paleofishgirl (if she is needed to be there),  porcupinepuffer (if you would like to purchase a membership at the door)

That is the list as it stands at the  moment, however, it is open to amendment, and a reminder that it will be starting at 6 pm on Monday the 11th of June at Marinescape on Carling Avenue.

Tyler.L

whats the membership cost again like $15 or so?

babblefish1960

At the moment it is $15, and the card expires September 30th 2007, so good for a while yet.

Great fun even though I was half asleep.  I learned a lot and it helped me make some decisions about what I am going to do with the 44g tank.

Thanks to the fellows at Marinescape for a great presentation, and of course thanks to everyone who made it out to have a listen and a chat.  It was fun to have the time to ask questions and not have to worry about taking time from paying customers, thanks so much for a great evening.

Only thing that sucked was that everybody left before me and I had no clue how to get to the executive meeting.  It was 7:45 and realized that Peter was left behind also and he was not sure if he was going.  Was so tired that I ended up going home to add the new snails and crabs I bought to my tank and fell asleep.

Kemokid

I enjoyed the opportunity to meet some more people and learn more about keeping a reef aquarium.

Thanks Marinescape and those that made it happen.
