Wow you must really have an aggressive group as I have a bn with mine and have had no problems at all.  Maybe try and buy an already full grown one?

Hi there

Give the pictus catfish a try. I have both the synodontis multipunctatus and synodontis petricola.

These go well with both Tanganyika or Malawi cichlids. Personally, I prefer the petricolas; as they are quite active and grow to no more than 4" in length. While they almost look the same; the S. petricolas have a white fringe around their fins.

Me again,

Forgot to mention; these are quite pricey at the LFS. Suggest you try Spencer Jack on your next order $9.99 each; ranging in size between 2" - 2.5".

If you have another comparable source; could you please let me know.

thanks
