ChloramX dosage

I'm having a mind fart - I can't remember the 'proper' dosage (as opposed to the sprinkle, sprinkle - that should be enough method) of chloramX. I leave on Friday and I need to make my Honeydo list

1/4 tsp for every 10 gal. of new water.

I thought it was 1 tsp for 10 gal?  That's what my paper says...

Trish:  Your paper has an error (and it's absolutely amazing the company hasn't updated the paper...if you call them they will point it out).  The dosage on the paper refers to a liquid version of the stuff.  The dry chemical is actually 1tsp per 41gallons (or, roughly, 1/4tsp per 10gallons).  This has been confirmed with the company directly by many people.

i was also told by the manf. 1/4 tsp. per 10 glns. of new water, but i dose to the volume of the tank(eg: 40 gln  tank- 1 tsp.)
