How do I know if my Goldfish are to big? They are in a 10 galon tank now.

Sadly, they are likely already too big for the tank.

Typical rule of thumb for most goldfish keepers is 10 gallons per fish. But the more the better.

yep, unless they are really really small no go.

I see from your signature that you have a fantail and a common in your 10 gallon tank.  Technically, the fantail should have 10 gallons and the common 20 gallons as the minimum per fish.  A 30 gallon would do them well, and then they will really start to grow!
