I have only had my 90g up and running for a month or two and there "seems" to be a whole lot of breeding going on.  I say "seems" as I am new to this and have never witnessed it before.  I am 99% sure one of my yellow labs is holding, one of my yellow tail acei's is moving all of the rocks around and building a nest/hole, my giga labs are doing little tail waving dances...

I think I am going to try and catch the yellow lab and give her a safe place.  She is hiding most of the time anyways.

This all so exciting for a first timer like myself  ;D :D :)

So are you swimming in babies now?

I never did remove the female, I decided to let nature takes it course.  Yesterday I found and caught two of the fry, and I have another female who is holding and is going to release any day now.  I would catch her if I could.

Good to hear you saved a couple and good luck with the others.

Survival of the fittest!!  You know the fry that survived are probably the strongest.
