Red Pencilfish

Today I was at Big Al's on Innes they had these awesome Red Pencil Fish! These guys are little beauties... A little pricey but well worth it.

No I did not buy any not a lot of room for fish at this time. Hey maybe need a bigger or new tank...

They had some at Big Al's in Kanata, too, but they are all gone. Nothing left but the price written on the tank.    On the plus side, around the corner is a tank full of three-lined pencilfish (n. trifasciatus). They are labelled 'auratus pencilfish.'

I was there at 5pm and they were all still kickin at Big Als Innes.  Nice looking fish!  They need about 3 bucks knocked off the price and I would buy five immediately!  Really nice red colour that would be easy to keep up.  I don't think there would be much fading with the right food.
