quick drying concrete for background

thank you all for your help on the styrofoam  for the styrofoam background

i have a question about quick drying concrete does it matter what type i use there was a lot of kind when i looked at the store. and what about powder colour, what should i use and were do i get it

Can't help you with your question, but I am curious as to WHAT in the the world you're trying to do?! :)

Create a textrued 3d background would be my guess.

The how-to on cichild forum seemed  pretty decent when I looking into this. I believe it mentions Quick-Crete which I found at my local Home Depot. Best of luck Sayeau.

I used KING plug-tite Instant water plug - from Home Depot.

It's best to practice with some spare pieces of Styrofoam before trying the final product.  The mixture starts out extremely liquidy but turns hard pretty fast.  Mix small amounts only and work quickly.

For colouring I used Granastar colour for cement - Home Depot once again.
