I checked to see if this problem had been posted previously but found nothing on the topic.

Several times now, while typing a new post I'll hit the backspace button to remove a word and the page will jump back to the previous page apparently deleting my unfinished post or message. I have not been able to retrieve my post and have to start again. Ironically, it happened to me while typing this very post.

Is it possible to retrieve my message or post when I've accidentally changed pages.

Thanks

I was walking down the street and a man was hammering on a roof top and he called me a Paranoid Little Weirdo. . . in morse code.

It occasionally happens to me as well.  I just do a page forward and everything is back.

What browser are you using?

Thanks for the replies.

I am using IE 7 (vista) and when I use the forward button it advances me to a blank message window and there is no way to retrieve everything I have written.

I have taken to copying my messages in notepad every few sentences and saving in case I lose it.

In order to create the situation you simply start a message then preview it so that your cursor is not flashing in the message and then hit the backspace button and voila message gone.

The backspace key is the equivalent of the back button in IE. When you're outside the message entry box, IE thinks you want to go back a page.
