Looking good Charlie!

How do you find the eavesdrop compare to the b&b reflectors? I was looking to buy a few more of those lamps and might go the eavesdrop route if they aren't too bad of reflectors.

Hey Matt, thanks. The reflectors will always be better, but i`m happy with the job the eavesdrop is doing & cant argue with the price  ;)

Gorgeous!  Absolutely fantastic!  Wish my planted tanks looked like that. :)

Very nice setup, once again. What bubble rate are you running?

Charlie another home run... real beauty!

You can always paint the inside of the eaves troff with high gloss enamel paint. There is even an epoxy paint that is inexpensive. Put an enamel paint as a primer then the high gloss epoxy white. There are even heat paints used for headers if you are using MH lights.

Thanks for all your kind remarks guy`s.I owe a lot to the 3 people that influenced  my interest in planted tanks, with their endless help & advice - Jetstream, BigDaddy & Toss
Dan high gloss paint is not a good reflector the satin finish of the vinyl is good.
Fischkopp i`m at 2 bubbles per sec at the moment, but bubble rates will vary from set up to set up due to many factors

Yeah I don't know what he does to keep it at bay but somehow it never grows in his tanks!  :)

Looking really good Charlie!
I'm starting to think more and more that I need to start this CO2 thing. It might clear up the little bit of algae problems that I have left!

Thanks for your kind remarks guy`s , i do face my battles with algae, infact 1 week after the initial set up i had a BBA outbreak, as in most cases it was my CO2 levels not up to par, with some tweaking & clipping  it seems to be under control now.

Vizidrix there are ways around the so called expensive stuff, for example the tank in this thread is fitted with 3 x 54 watt T5 strip lights @ 35.00 each ( complete plug & play), they are housed in vinyl gutter/eavesthrough @ 6.00 per 10 or 12 ft length painted black outside  ;)

Jeff the CO2 thing is well debated among planted tank hobbyist, but for me it so much easier to keep planted tanks with injecting co2, i did try non co2 & it works but it was not for me, now i`ve gone pressurised it`s no turning back  ;).
