Pre-mixing and airating with a stone will help stabilize the ph of the water.
I would suggest premixing if at all possible. It is easy to premix a couple buckets in the basement or closet.

If you mixed up your sw after every top off then you would always have some sw ready on stand by incase something should go wrong.

I keep 50g to sw and 50g of kalk water on hand and it has saved me several times already.
