36inch tank

I need someone to measure a 36inch tank ( 33 gals)
What I need to know is how the inseem of the top measures ... like when you are setting a light on the top what would be the measurements
I am cutting a reflector for a friend in toronto and dont have the tank with me ...
Any help or ideas would be great !
