Light not working

I have an eclipse 3 hood, and only one of the bulbs works. I have replaced the bulbs but still only one works (and if I swap them round, the same socket fails to light up).

Not knowing a lot about lighting, what should my next course of action be?

Check,endcaps,end cap connections and connections on that circuit to ballast,also connection for starter/igniter if it has one.
