Another silly question....

Yes, I have yet another silly question....If you add more plants to your tank, will that increase or decrease the nitrate in your tank? 


Sdivell---I FINALLY got a nitrate testing kit...wahoo...and the nitrate level is almost as low as it can get on the little color chart (can't remember the number right now) The water is all clear...for now...

decrease.. plants eat up nitrate and use it to grow.

fish make it... plants eat it.....anything left over you take out once a week with water changes.
