Best pump for CPR bakpak?

Hello, I am wondering if anyone has experience with others pumps than Rio on a Bakpak?

I suggest you search there forum or ask CPR here http://www.cpraquatic.com/forums/ they are going to different pumps for some of there models due to issues with the Rio's

Looks like a Maxijet 1200 might work depending on what bakpack you have

Thanks for your help Bruce, I have a mj1200 I could mod or I could purchase the same pump that comes with the new bakpak if it is available separately.  Everything seems to be ok without the skimmer currently;  it wasn't producing alot of skimmate and I only ran it periodically.  My nitrates are practically nil.

Most likely the same issue as the customer in if its noice, or a lfow issue

"Please refer to the mod post for the MJ1200 at the top of this forum. The venturi adapter is putting too much restriction of the water flow into the pump. This mod will allow more water flow and still pull air into the intake of the pump. This will reduce the noise from the pump itself. Also, you can add a wooden air diffuser to the end of the airline after this mod. This will silence any noise from the air being drawn through the airline. Both a wooden air diffuser and an airline nipple should be avialable at your local fish store for under a dollar."

If its just lack of skimmate, it might be your not running it long enough or consistant enough as per the below thread:
