I was looking for a red lens for my Flashlight so I could see things after my moon lights go off then found out I have some leftover red sealing tape from my Electrical Panel Box.  It worked like a charm and just wanted to share it with you.

God I looked forever could not find one either. I used the plastic top off some kind of spray the wife had in the medcine chest. They sell them at army surplus stores I was told. Mine works well except I haven't able to find it for a year now... LOL

Another trick I have seen used at star gazing parties is to cut the end of a small pilon made of thin plastic,  wedge the flash light in the wider end, then glueing a coin over the small open end. The red plastic will glow.

the last flashlight I got from Canadian Tire had 3 cover lenses included. A red, a yellow and I think the last one was blue. I only ever used the red one.

It was a Noma LED flashlight but I can't find it in the online catalog at this time.

like dan said....

they sell them at army surplus stores. they are in an L shape, olive green color and have the interchangable lenses that store in the bottom of the handle.

I have one but didnt know you can use it for fish night watching.

they dont see red light?

There is also an LED flashlight sold that comes with the three filters - Garrity, I think. Like the tape idea - good DIY solution.

a red balloon stretched over the flashlight could work too
