This is a potted plant I got. Its in my cichlid tank mostl ycause the cichlids don't seem to think its food. I don't know what is though. I think it may be some kind of cryptocoryne.

This is another plant question, this plant is growing in my 2.5g planted tank, well like a weed honestly...it seems to be growing out of the java moss.

Looks like Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Bronze' to me.

The first plant seems to be a cryptocoryne, but it is hard to tell what species it is exactly. The second plant appears to be hornwort.
be aware of the green side

Very hard to tell from the picture... The second one is definitely a hornwort, but the first one could be a good old java fern - is it attached to a stone or a dfitwood? Does it send roots that "attach" themselves to any surface, including the gravel, or does it send roots deep into the gravel? If the former, then it is Java fern; if the latter, then it is a type of Cryptocoryne..

I`ll go with Cryptocoryne wendtii for the first one, not sure which variety , the second one i can`t tell from the pic , but i`m not convinced it`s hornwort.

It is in a pot look at the bottom of the plant closely. Is the second Limnophila sessiflora? I've never seen Hornwort rooted - does it?

I assumed that its rooted I can't tell without ripping up the java moss its growing out of. All I know is that its grown a good inch in a day.
