I just redid my sump room and now have to redo all the lines.  I want to run PEX tubing

Problem is will brass fittings leach anything back into my system?  Can't seem to find plastic ones as of yet.

Yes brass will create a huge problem for you.
Brass is a copper alloy and yes it will affect the inverts within your system.

Do you know if they make Plastic Pex fittings?

I'm converting all my plumbing to PEX. The brass fittings should be fine for FW. After all, most of us still have copper plumbing in our homes. For SW, the push-to-seal fittings available at HD or CTC are fine too because even though they have a single metal grip ring, it is stainless steel and never comes into contact with the water anyway.

Thanks I will look into those as well. So far I can do everything but am unsure on the Ball Valve conversion to accept the pex.  I'll take a trip to HD and see what that have tonight.  If not might have to wait for another Lowes trip.

The neat thing about those push-and-seal fittings is that they're good for any type of 1/2" pipe - copper, pvc, cpvc, pex, poly-butyl etc. You could probably make them work even with semi-rigid vinyl tubing because that little gripper ring really holds on. They also remove easily by sliding a ring back which releases the gripper. So, if you have to, you can do all your plumbing in PEX and then just insert a short length of 1/2" PVC in the fitting and then use reducing or expanding adapters to get to the size of your ball valves or other fittings.

Awesome I can finally get back to work now instead of googling PEX fittings :)

Yeah, it's great stuff and very inexpensive. Also neat because you can use different colours for different lines; red for drains, blue for returns .. the fun just continues.

Are these them?

That may be one brand but, not one I'm familiar with. I know of two different plastic ones; one is white where you need to use a wrench or pliers to squeeze a compression fitting to grip the pipe, the other is a tan colour like CPVC pipe. That one you just push in the pipe until it's seated and the connection is made. The tan one is the one I use because it's easier to undo and requires no tools. Both are readily available at HD or CTC. I find both store's stocking varies and at HD there's one type of fitting in each of the two plumbing aisles.
