Help sizeing a return pump with SCWD

Hi all, can anyone help me size a pump for my reef? Im looking for something that will give me a good wave affect with my SCWD at about 5 bor 6' head hight. I would like to use this for the bulk if not all the flow I'll need in my tank.


Any suggestions?

Are you planning on running this as a closed loop or on your return line?

It sould like you were thinking of using this on your return line.
In order to get all the flow that you would require for your size of tank (and so that you had no ph in the tank) you would have to crank a fair amount of flow through that SCWD. Probably more flow than the SCWD can handle and definately more flow than you should be over the overflow and through the sump.
