My 24g pod has always done pretty well. 3 days ago I noticed my frogspawn 'melting'. I did a small water change and sucked all the melted portion away. Tonight I noticed that the rest of the frogspawn had completely disolved and now a leather is showing signs of 'melting'. I have a second frogspawn which is higher in the pod and a second leather which is in a different location - these have no signs of disease. All my tests are fine except for my calcium which was low (280). I have added calcium twice in the past 3 days. I use only RO/DI. Would only low calcium have done this?

not really helping but those would be corals, not inverts...

Vincenzo.

Hookup

It could be so many things that can cause that.  Could you post your current paramaters... all or any of the following could help.

salinity
ph
temp
ammonia
nitrite
nitrate
phospate
calcium
alk
magneisum

Without that data, it's hard to say if it's a disease and/or environmental.  Could be both.

Photos would help as well.
