doing some research and not found much. My prob is i only have the one in a tank so i have nothing to compare to, any distinct things to realize if its a male or a female. Id like to throw another in and try and take a chance to pair them up.

Aqua valley has a mated pair of Y. Haze in there display, maybe start by talking to him or going to see for your self. From what i saw they look the same but i did not inquire about the sexing.

I'm not sure if they are a sex morphing fish or not ?  The mated pair I have seen,  one has a darker spot just in front of the dorsal fin and the other doesn't.  The question is which is what sex I couldn't say...
