Flouresence bulbs @ Home Depot

They say that they are for aquarium plants and they only cost $7 for a 4' 40W bulb.

Does anyone use them?  If so, are they worth using?

I use the daylight bulbs.  They're even cheaper.

I would not. Go with the Daylight Deluxe or Natural Sunshine. I recently have switched over to T8s 32 watts from T12 and they are just as bright, and saves electricity. My plants seem to be doing well with them as well.

I agree with TBarb.
the ones that say they are for plants and aquariums are absolute garbage! Daylight deluxe are much muh better.
