DIY CO2 Generator / Reactor

Forgive me for asking... Im feeling a wee bit brain dead atm, and the answer is probably right there in front of me (The "I can't see the forest through the trees" sydrome).

Does anyone have a good set of plans for a CO2 generator / reactor (preferably as a combo)? I've seen several, but I have found a couple of them contradict the other in terms of the construction (and thankfully not in the principle)...

The one that I'm using now is DIY, I bought a 2" dia clear PVC tube from Canus Plastic on Elgin St. Then bought 2 rubber boots and fitting for the ends from Homedepot that fit perfectly. But I found my CO2 level  is not hgih enough even I run the reactor thru the input side of an Eheim 2028, will give the Maxi-Jet or Rio powerhead method a try later. Good luck!
