Penguin filter cartridge

This is probably old news to some, but to the others, Penguin Mini Filter cartridge which retails @ about $4.75 single & a 3 pack for $10.50 per pack , can be bought @ Wal Mart under the BRAND NAME AQUA-TECH EZ - change cartridge for 5 -10 power filters for $2.28 single & a 3-pack for $5.78 per pack, also the replacement for the Penguin 125 & 170 cartridge under the Brand name Aqua - Tech 10-20 power filters for the same price as the 5-10 cartridge - I think.

You can also buy an Aqua Tech filter, and then order the spare parts to turn it into a Penguin.  All you need is the biowheel bracket, the wheel itself, bearings and a replacement top cover.

Not a great saving on the smaller models, but good enough on the large unit.

I did it to create a Penguin Mini.... worked like a charm.
