So after the unfortunate disappearance (Domestic dispute) of one of my previous clowns I had to replace him cause the other looked so lonely.

Well went to Oakville Reef (where i got the orig's) and brought him (soon to be her) home a brother.  Well within minutes of introducing the new clown they were best buds... then within 10 minutes she was chasing him around the tank like nobodies business... chase chase chase... best buds... chase chase chase... nip nip nip ... repeat.

Lights out...

Well in the morning they were not chasing anymore and i Guess she reclaimed her thrown as queen of clowns.  Within a few days though I woke up to see this...

they had hosted.. not in my RBTA mind you but in my MASSIVE Colt coral... it's really fun to watch these guys squirm through the branches... Here are some shots to show you the size difference haha...

Thought i'd post this cause a lot of people just ask how to get clowns to host... answer is just time. Although it's a bit of Monkey see Monkey do also.  My original had never hosted but I believe the new one had hosted at the marine shop before I picked him up.

I also never saw a courtship battle between the other two as they had ALWAYS been together since birth, so maybe adding new blood caused them to 'start'??

It's really nice when they start hosting... I remember being very happy when mine started to take to a torch coral.... they are still there in the new tank !

Cute! love the size difference.
I have a pair of black saddlebacks that don't even want to have anything to do with each other.
my previous pair hosted in a torch.
