Hey I was trying too decide what to do with my 10G cuz the zebras are getting old and about to die off and i was wondering what whold be better:
:? (A) 10-15 small tetras and 2 corys or
:? (B) 5-6 dwarf neon rainbows with 2 corys

any advice would be welcomed thx

Depends on the type of tetras - but I like them better, personally.

I think you'll find that the dwarf neon rainbows aren't suitable for a 10.  They really need more room than that to swim around.

If you really want rainbows, try the threadfins.  They don't look like much at the store, but really color up when you get them home!

corys likes to shoal, get more ;)

I'd say go with A (the tetras/cories mix).

If you are talking small tetras, are you talking neons, glowlights, cardinals, etc, etc?

Personally though..... here's what i'd do, since you've only got a 10 gallon.

Option A: Go with maybe a school of 8 tetras (one species), and then get 3 cories. For example... 8 neons, 3 cories

Option B: Go with two schools of tetras, go with 5 of each (so 10 in total).  Then get 3 cories.  For example... 5 neons, 5 glowlights, then 3 cories.

Option C: One species of a school of 6 tetras, 3 cories and then go with a pair of rams (nice little dwarf cichlid :)).

These are just examples that I have come up with, you can use them if you wish, it's up to you!
