Identity Help Please

I found these small green balls sitting on the substrate nestled up against some live rock. Not attached, just settled there.
I presume they are an egg sack from something, but from what?
Anyone seen these or know what they are?

I have seen it before, but for the life of me i dont have the link. Im sure its eggs too. Ill keep searching for u jeff

I forgot to mention the balls are fairly hard too. The balls did not "squish" when I removed them with a set of tongs.

I saw these once before on an Aussie coral I bought. I removed them that time too.

Someone on RC suggested some sort of free form ball algae.

Well if they are not soft like jell, it aint eggs... Maybe the algae your sayin, or a type of sponge.

Is it green, its hard to tell in the picture..they look like they have dots.

I would guess sponge
