My electrically powered CO2 solenoid valve is producing this high pitched buzzing which is driving me crazy.

Anyone have a similar experience with their valve?
Is it time for a solenoid valve replacement?
If so, where's a good place to purchase it without depositing an arm & a leg?

Thanks in advance for everyone's insite into this matter.

What type of solenoid is it - clippard?, sometime taking it apart and cleaning the piston might help, but more than likely it needs replacing.
You can get this through Clippard Canadian distributer- wainbee.com or Clippard direct, but would need to add the cord, by the time it gets to you, it will probably be around 50.00

or you can get it from Rex Grigg

The Milwaukee replacment is available from Pets and pond or Big Al`s online

Mine does that once in a while.  Try turning it on & off several times (if you have a switch) or plug/unplug it 10 - 15 times and it should free it up and stop the noise.  The noise is mostlikely a very small amount of CO2 or water getting through as it's not closing 100 %.

Many thanks,

I tried the plug & unplug method and it worked.
Happy plants!
