I'm in the market to get a tank drilled as well.

I'll be looking to hopefully get my 28 gallon tank drilled eventually soon. Good thing to know that there are a couple of people that drill them

Speaking of drilling.  Any reason not to "redrill" an existing hole?  I have one that I would like to make bigger.  Am I asking for trouble?

I was thinking of making a wooden jig to make sure the bit will not wander around.  I'm aware that cooling the glass/bit will be a challenge as there is already a hole and water will not "puddle", but I think with some "tuck tape" (the red tape used for wall vapor barrier) I should be able to keep water in long enough to make the hole.

I already have the diamond drill bit btw.

From what size to what size are you redrilling from?  I don't see any reason why it won't work.  Just go slower thats all.  And obviously keep it as cool / lubed as possible.

I'm going to drill my own, it doesn't seem that hard

Thats what I did for my tank.  $10 from ebay for a bit shipped and it worked great! :D
