OVAS Elections?

Shouldn't the OVAS election details be posted here too and not just in the members only area? Who is or isn't rerunning? Who is going to be on the ballot?

Non-members may consider joining so they can vote for someone? OR they may consider joining so in near future they themselves might enter the ballot for election?

Well not to put too fine a point on it, that's not something we want to encourage. The timing of our elections is in the links at the left for all to see, as well as the announcement at the top of every forum. If someone wants to join for the purpose of participating in the elections, we won't say no, but that's not what participating in the club is about.
