Just looking for some suggestions on fish that are gentle on plants. I don't need any lawn mower livebearers or anything like that. I'm thinking along the lines of some tetras possibly? Anything else?

South american dwarves are fine.

I have kept apistos, rams and keyholes in a heavily planted community tank.  None ever touched the plants.

Angels can be iffy... I've heard of some nibbling at plants, although mine don't.

There are lots of fish that are plant friendly.... the list for NON plant friendly would be africans, the big central amercian cichlids (oscars love to redecorate), and goldfish.
