Frog / Fish compatibility

A friend of mine has offered me three african dwarf frogs.

Would they be compatible with my 75G planted tank? It's current inhabitants are 4x2-3" keyhole cichlids, 20 cardinal tetra, a few drawf-neon rainbows, 2 x corys, and a few plecos (ranging from about 4 - 8").

Any thoughts?

With fronds like these, who needs anemones?

It should be fine in terms of compatibility, my only concern is how high the tank is.

As these frogs need to breath surface air, they will more than likely end up finding something up near the top to hang onto (such as a plant leaf).  Having nothing floating near the top, will leave them feeling vulnerable and they may try and climb out.

I suggest putting them into a tank that reaches no higher than 2 feet.

Good luck!

If it will fit in the frogs mouth, it will go in the frogs mouth...

Ask Brine he's always had them in a tank with mixed fish & plants. One fish was even a fairly large puffer. He's had them in a 75 for ages and I think even a 90 wihich is much taller tank. Ask him Martin?
