Hello All welcome to my home !

Wanted to showoff my old tank that has been "remodded" my 130 Gallon has gotten a new stand and Lighting, much better then the metal stand and mix and matched lighting.

I also have my 10 gallon nano tank setup no corals added but im pretty happy with what has been crawling out of the cracks, lots of good coraline algea and possible some shrooms growing.   Occupents are 1 black tailed humbug, 3 Astrea Snails and 5 Blue Legged Hermit crabs.

The cat is a year old and his name is Finwe.  For those of you who like lord of the rings and more importantly The Silmarillion will know Finwe as the father of Feanor, who created the Silmarills.

The Puppy is a Doberman who is 13 weeks old now and is just a little angel, great puppy, he means alot to me, lots of fun and boy is he cute,  His ears were cropped at 8 weeks, that is what is on his ears, they are fine. The puppies name is Tom Bombadil, we call him Tommy.  (Tom Bombadil is also from Lord of the rings, FOTR )

I really like the stand for your 130. It's very nice. Makes for a very nice show tank!

And your pup is cute. The ear-thing is hillarious though. It's always so funny to see dogs done up like that.

Gorgeous shots!

Love the big tank, love the kitty (he looks like my 16yr old who just passed away :( ) and LOVE the Dobie. Is he a red? I used to have 3 red dobes when I lived in Nfld. GREAT dogs!

Nice to see that cropping is still done by some vets. I prefer cropped Dobes to uncropped.

Thanks.  I downgraded the amount of tanks I had so I could have less "Quality" tanks.  I like the idea of a show tank and having the oscar in the main room makes him appear so much more attractive and he is interacting with us again.

The Dobie is a red. I prefer them to the black dobermans, I find the black dobermans look threatening,  most people see our pup and don't even recognize it as a doberman, they are such wonderful dogs.

I am pretty sure not many vets still crop the dobies ears, We bought him from a Breeder near quelph, I know we have to tape them up ourselves because the vet here won't tape them.  I wouldn't have a doberman without cropped ears, they look like mutts with there ears uncropped ( no offence to mutts, as I like them just the same, its just we paid 2000$ for the dog, I want it to look like a doberman)

Bingo~!

If I were to get another Dobe, it would be a Red, and have cropped tail and ears. I find that the Reds have kinder faces, and show more expression, you know?I know what you mean about "mutt" looking Dobes with the droopy ears. They are a regal, loving, intelligent, affectionate breed, and deserve to look like a Dobe.

Was your vet local to you, or was the cropping done in Guelph?

LOL if you have a waterbed, that's where you'll find Tommy if he's ever "missing". At least that's where I would find my "dobie-pile" when they didn't greet me at the door when I came home. Mine all thought they were lapdogs, but man oh man, they're all elbows and  knees! ;)

Well sonny !... I see you have`nt been sitting around !!,.... it sure is lots of work a new home....
Your OSCAR is a real show-off !!... he knows exactly whats happening ,...and is enjoying it !!.....he sure likes you !!...  I think fish really enjoy being in the same room as their owners...as do all house pets.......not hidden away in a basement....
Your dog will be great company, and he`s seems really cute,.. is he good with little kids ???.... (loaded question)...
A small open cardboard box ontop of the cats stand, he`ll love you for it... lined with a towel makes it easy to keep his bed clean,.. my calico seemed to really like blue towels... Gets along well with the dog !!... I guess the dog wants to play  all the time !!...
Many thanks ,...good luck with your new home and all....   John P

Njoyride; It is the BA Stingray stand,  All are from south america except an Eclipse Suncat which never comes out; I believe he is from Burma.

Nikie:  THe house is ALOT of work, we have invested so much of out money into it, between the 2k we spent on the dog, the 1k I put into my tanks in the last month, we are almost down our wooded shed (  1500 w/ siding) and this weekend our deck is being stained and a lifted.    Every penny worth it though....

The pupy is questionable with kids, he is fine aslong as he knows them and can see them, but he doesnt like when they yell or cry, or if he cannot see them but hears them,  we are keeping an eye on him just incase, he started puppy classes last week and we are out socailizing him with our friends.

Funny... as
Real looking women have glued fake eyelashes and silicone.

AND was my Rott born with this little tail?
(not a judgement, but an observation)
