I'm trying to grow Cabomba in my CPD tank (the bowl shaped tank that I won a couple GA's ago...I think it's about 15 gallons.  So far it's not going well.  The PH is 6.5...maybe a bit lower and the temp is about 69 degrees.  I have Flora Base substrate and moderate lighting.  I can't remember how many watts per gallon but there's a dual T5 24" fixture above the tank...one is a daylight bulb, the other is a plant bulb.  I can check when I get home later.

Here's my thoughts...either it's too cold or there's not enough fish poop accumulating in the tank to properly nourish the plants.  Or is there another potential issue?

Yes the temp is way too cold for the Camboma to flourish.  This plant can actually do well in with discus temp.  It needs alot of light.  Its 2 watts per gallon.  15 gallon is pretty small for that type of plant to do well.  It generally needs co2 to do very well.  I would have went with Hornwort or an Anubias for that setup.  Hope this helps a little.
