I am currently using a 4 bulb tek light on my 90 gallon planted tank with pressurized CO2. I was curious how long should I leave to light and CO2 on as I am getting some algae and cyano issues

Thanks

The total light duration should be 8-12 hours. I tend to keep it at 8 hours on my planted tanks. The CO2 comes on 1 1/2 earlier. That time will depend how well saturated the CO2 is when the lights come on.

Cyano usually appears if flow or nitrates are low; it's usually a combination of both: the low flow means there isn't sufficient nitrate delivered to an area. If cyano only grows in a limited area, try to improve the flow around it, it will disappear quickly. When it shows up everywhere, try to get rid of it first and increase you nitrate dosing later on.

Good luck. :)
