We're just back from Cuba and spent our time around/near/in/on the water. We spent time fishing, but also snorkeling. I saw great scenery and cute fish I usually only see in tanks. It was fun to catch them "for real"!

Most of the sea floor was desert, but punctuated with these little rocks of life... Can you name those fish?!!

A scary moray eel as big as a leg!

Can you see the lionfish?!

A small barracuda and its little yellow friends

One is the loneliest number

The very skinny and elusive needlefish. They're so fast and as blue as the sea.

And then we gathered around a very nice cuban coffee to watch the ponds...

Some kind of molly and xiphos...

The pond snails were nice too

It was hard for Patrick to keep his hands off them...

or their eggs...

I guess we were not the only one interested!

I love the underwater shots, they look good :) What camera are you using?

GeneBe

It's a Canon G7 with it's custom waterproof case. I bought a few years back and never regretted it! It comes with me snorkeling, fishing, swimming even just in streams or rivers  to see what's on the other side...
